Her priest Sariella Rosewood. Think this might be my all time favorite for one reason. I FINALLY got to use my curl brushes. Hope I captured her well enough.
And before anyone rips into me about it. I know. The shading on the skirt is off and the skirt itself has room for improvement. I'm learning.
Also, slightly inspired by one of my favorite songs for this one. "Fleur de Saison" by Emilie Simon: [link]
I love the over all feel of the picture. Most importantly, I think it's imparitive to have a theme or 'idea' behind pictures. I like how it isn't slapped together. Yes, skirt needs shading and perhaps even bits in the background. Other than that I love the concept, it was well thought out, great choice in colors. And the only thing I can suggest to add to this instead of taking away is perhaps more grass in the 'flat' grass areas.I like it, and I would totally give this two thumbs up. I personally believe that art is in the eye of the beholder just as beauty is. The hair is innocent, wonderful and cute. it suits the entire aspect of who the character is and how she looks. The main thing here is the idea of the photo, the detail and dedication that has went into it to finish it and as long as the person is happy with the picture ( Who it was done for) then there should be NO rude comments about it. Otherwise, This is definately one of my favorites. You thought outside the box and weren't afraid to absorb yourself into the work of it. A lot of people commonly misplace those thoughts when Critiquing or visualizing WMV edits. Keep up the lovely work! <3
Heh thanks. As I was telling Foxy earlier, I think the hair, to get it to there, was about 40-50 layers. Something around 50 layers total BEFORE working on the background. Then a grand total around 70 layers to finish it. I might be a tad OCD when it comes to keeping things in order.
This is so gorgeous! I love how her skirt came out, and her hair! It's perfect- Sari LOVES flowers, she's an herbalist! Thank you so much! I think it's perfect.
